I still have a few fanfic pieces that I still need to publish and of course, even though it's been years since the last update, I do want to eventually finish "Come What May&" but right now nothing has gotten my attention so firmly then the BBC series Sherlock starring Benedict Cumberbatch and Martin Freeman. I think once the new Sailormoon series debuts my writing juices for "Come What May" will be jump-started again. Until then, why don't you try some Sherlock fanfic to tide you over? These are only the tip in the iceberg when looking through the fandom's offerings of great fanfics.
Alone on the Water
a Sherlock fanfiction by madlorific
Warnings: character death, angst
This is one of the most well known Sherlock fanfics online. If you aren't crying by the end, you don't have a heart.
Performance in a Leading Role
Genre: AU, romance
Rating: PG for now, may go up to NC-17 later
Summary: Sherlock Holmes is an Oscar winner in the midst of a career slump. John Watson is an Everyman actor trapped in the rom-com ghetto. When they are cast as a gay couple in a new independent drama, will they surprise each other? Will their on-screen romance make its way into the real world?
Another great story by madlorific. I love AU's and this one was really well done.
What to do When Your Flatmate is Homicidal by hyacinth_sky747
Summary: Sherlock takes Molly's advice when dealing with his dangerous flatmate.
Just flat out funny.
Indecorous by Basingstoke
Summary: In which John learns to balance a kinky girlfriend, an asexual boyfriend, a ten-inch cock, his sister, the neighbours, his friends, and his blog. Some are more balanced than others.
Another funny story but this time we get a Mary Morstan who is not a villain and is a pretty cool, developed character of her own.
